SNUFF?

We are SNUFF, an electronic music collective born in 2019 in Santiago de Chile. Our purpose is to create a community that opens opportunities for underground music producers, allowing them to perform in the national and international electronic scene. At SNUFF, we embrace the rawest and most authentic aspects of electronic music, using our productions to reflect the complexity and intense emotions of contemporary life. With a unique identity and innovative events, we are committed to promoting authenticity and artistic quality, challenging norms and building a brand that resonates deeply with our audience.

The mission of the SNUFF project is to generate opportunities nationwide for electronic music projects, covering a wide range of subgenres and art forms related to music creation and production. These projects, framed in the Chilean avant-garde, are born with the idea that artists can find their own opportunities to perform, avoiding the use of "pitutos" (networks of contacts obtained through mutual favors or friendships).

SNUFF moves in an artistic aesthetic that combines dark, raw and avant-garde elements, similar to punk, but adapted to the context of electronic music. The brand is inspired by the rebellious energy and authenticity of punk, but without the destructive component, focusing on an artistic expression that challenges norms and reflects an intense reality. This aesthetic seeks to provoke a deep emotional response, channeling aggression in a creative and constructive way through electronic music.

SNUFF's purpose is to establish itself as a cutting-edge platform in electronic music, offering a unique and immersive experience for both artists and audiences. The name “SNUFF” refers to snuff videos, which are known for depicting raw and real situations. Similarly, SNUFF artists strive to create authentic and unique art, the fruit of their hard work and dedication. This approach allows the public to enjoy a genuine artistic experience, under the premise that “the show must go on”, even in unfavorable contexts for the artists.
